Practice in Montreal
The B’s hit the ice at the Bell Centre for an afternoon practice after flying into Montreal Tuesday morning.
Most notably, Brad Marchand was back on the ice for the first time since leaving Saturday’s game in Toronto after colliding hard into the boards during the second period. No. 63 was back in his normal gold jersey with Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin - though the second line had a fourth member today, as Gregory Campbell also remained in gold (the center had filled in on the wing Saturday night when Marchand left the game and wore the gold jersey at Monday’s practice).
Ryan Spooner, recalled from Providence Monday night, marking his first NHL regular season call-up, was wearing the merlot fourth line jersey - most likely to ease the youngster into the group. P-Bruins teammates Jamie Tardif and Lane MacDermid joined him in merlot.
The top line was back together, as David Krejci returned to the ice after taking a maintenance day Monday, and the third line remained intact.
