Already Poised Hamilton Striving to Improve

There is no doubt that the Dougie Hamilton era in Boston has begun. Through 11 games, the 19-year-old, rookie defenseman has been called poised enough times to last a lifetime.

But, it is so true. The 6-foot-5, 199 pounder patrols the ice as well as any defenseman on the Bruins roster. His ability to fit the puck through the slightest of seams on a breakout, his knack for getting his shot from the point through traffic, and his smooth-as-silk skating have made the soft-spoken Toronto native an instant star across New England.
