BostonBruins.com – The Providence Bruins 2011-12 season came to an end on a high note with a 3-2 win over the Portland Pirates on Sunday, April 15.
The Bruins went 3-2 in the final five games to finish with a 35-34-7 record – which left them 12th in the Eastern Conference and out of the playoffs for the third straight season.
Forward Carter Camper’s 18 goals and team-high 30 assists landed him atop the team’s scoring chart with 48 points, while forward Craig Cunningham led the team with 20 goals and had 16 assists. Forward Josh Hennessy was second on the team with 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points.
BostonBruins.com — While most of the Boston Bruins prospects’ season has come to an end, four players are still trying to help their team capture a championship trophy.
Two B’s prospects, Jared Knight of the London Knights and Tyler Randell of the Kitchener Rangers will go head-to-head in the OHL Western Conference Finals in a best of seven series to reach the J. Ross Robertson Cup Finals.
The series begins Thursday, April 19 at London at 7 p.m.
