Milan Lucic is still riled up from the Boston sports day we all had Sunday. One of the most (if not most) knowledgeable sports fans on the team, Looch follows the other Boston teams closely, and was impressed with the Patriots and Red Sox comeback wins that sent the city abuzz.During his pregame interview before facing the Detroit Red Wings on Monday, Lucic offered his take.
"A lot of frustration as a fan," he smiled, of watching the games. "That obviously ended up with some great comebacks and some great finishes.""Obviously being able to be a part of that last year with the game 7 against Toronto, and seeing something like that yesterday, especially in that 8th inning there, when Big Papi hit the grand slam, I think it was like the first time that I ever kind of jumped out of my couch and cheered for something in a long, long time. It was a great day of New England sports watching.""I think there’s that special buzz right now in the city with the sports and I know it’s probably a good way to set the stage going into this game, and I know the guys are all excited and talking about it going into the game here today and, obviously, we have a lot to live up to."
