Bergeron, Chara: Losing Tim Thomas Won’t Be Easy

LAS VEGAS – Bruins captain Zdeno Chara and alternate Patrice Bergeron were both asked about Tim Thomas’ decision to take a year off during their media day appearances with bostonbruinsTV on Tuesday.

“Well, for sure it’s not going to be easy,” Chara told BBTV. “You know I’ve been really surprised by the announcement he made but, we have to respect his decision and we’ll see if he will or will not come play next season.

“If he doesn’t then obviously we have to play without him.”
