Khokhlachev, Russia Earn the Bronze — Boston Bruins prospects were again on both sides of the action during Saturday’s bronze medal game at the IIHF World Junior Championships in Ufa, Russia.

Forward Anthony Camara, defenseman Dougie Hamilton and goaltender Malcolm Subban's Team Canada faced forward Alexander Khokhlachev's Russian team for third place.

World Juniors Update: Dec. 31 — There were Black & Gold prospects on either side of the highly anticipated Canada versus Russia game at the World Junior Championships on New Year’s Eve in Ufa, Russia.

Team Canada forward Anthony Camara, defenseman Dougie Hamilton and goaltender Malcolm Subban faced off against Alexander Khokhlachev's Russian squad as the top junior-aged players in from both countries vied for first place in the tournament's Group B, a bye in the first round of the Playoff Round (and Boston Bruins Development Camp bragging rights).

World Juniors Update: Dec. 30 — With Russia and Alexander Khokhlachev idle in World Juniors play on Sunday, Team Canada — with B’s prospects Malcolm Subban, Dougie Hamilton and Anthony Camara in the lineup – faced off against arguably its next biggest rival, the United States.

World Juniors Update: Dec. 29 — With undefeated (2-0) Team Canada idle, and with Anthony Camara (2 GP, 0-1-1), Dougie Hamilton (2 GP, 0-1-1) and Malcolm Subban (2GP, 2-0, 3.00 GAA, .892 SV%) enjoying the day off, the only B’s prospect in action on Saturday at Ufa, Russia’s World Junior Championship was Alexander Khokhlachev.

World Juniors Update: Dec. 28 – Bruins prospects had two games on the docket for Friday, December 28, with Canada facing off against Slovakia and the host country Russia playing the U.S.

Team USA is now without a B’s prospect, as defenseman Matt Grzelcyk did not make the final roster.

World Juniors Update: Dec. 27 — There was only one game with a Black & Gold storyline to it, but even beyond the short schedule, today’s World Juniors news out of Russia was pretty slight from a Boston Bruins perspective.

Team USA defeated Germany, 8-0, in a preliminary round game, but B’s prospect, Boston University defenseman Matthew Grzelcyk, wasn’t in the lineup.

World Juniors Update: Dec. 26 — It was a fine first showing for the Boston Bruins prospects at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia.

Malcolm Subban, Dougie Hamilton and Anthony Camara made big contributions to Team Canada’s 9-3 win over Germany and a goal from Alexander Khokhlachev's Russian squad helped stop the Slovaks 3-2.
