B’s Fallstrom, Harvard Take Beanpot Consolation Game, 3-2

BOSTON, MA – Prior to the start of the 60th Annual Beanpot tournament, Harvard forward Alex Fallstrom was unsure if he’d be back from his injury in time for the start of the tournament.

But the Boston Bruins prospect recovered and overcame a loss to BU in the first round, as he scored his first career Beanpot goal to lift Harvard to a 3-2 win over the Northeastern Huskies in the consolation game.

“Being injured is always boring – it’s not fun,” Fallstrom said. “I was just happy to be back on the ice and be back with the team and hopefully [help them] get some [more] W’s down the stretch.”
