Three B's Prospects Make Canada's WJC Roster — The last day of Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp at Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary also provided the final round of cuts as coach Steve Spott trimmed his roster in preparation for the 2013 World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia, later this month.

Morrison Stands Tall in Shootout Loss to Solar Bears — Goaltender Adam Morrison made 31 saves, but the South Carolina Stingrays (3-4-0-1), the ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins, fell to the Orlando Solar Bears 2-1 in the shootout at the North Charleston Coliseum Tuesday evening.

The Winthrop Squirt B team won the chance to be “Coached by Claude” in a raffle benefiting the Boston Bruins Foundation and Massachusetts Hockey.

Connecticut Defeats Providence 6-3 — The Providence Bruins fell to the Connecticut Whale 6-3 Saturday night in Hartford’s XL Center. Jamie Tardif, Jordan Caron and Max Sauvé scored for Providence.

P-Bruins Clip Falcons 3-1 — The Providence Bruins defeated the Falcons 3-1 Saturday in Springfield’s MassMutual Center. Craig Cunningham, Garnet Exelby and Max Sauvé scored for the P-Bruins.

P-Bruins Defeat Monarchs 4-3 — The Providence Bruins defeated the Monarchs 4-3 at Manchester, NH’s Verizon Wireless Arena. Boston Bruins prospect Ryan Spooner tallied the first goal while the Black & Gold’s Jordan Caron sealed the win with a hat trick.
