Randell Assigned to Providence

Justin Courtnall has been returned on loan to South Carolina and Tyler Randell has been reassigned to Providence.

Providence Falls to Worcester in a Shootout

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins fell to the Worcester Sharks 3-2 in a shootout at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Sunday afternoon despite registering a season-high 53 shots on net. Christian Hanson and Justin Florek scored in regulation for the Bruins. James Sheppard netted the game-winner for the Sharks in the shootout.

P-Bruins Defeat Pirates in Portland

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins defeated the Portland Pirates 5-2 Saturday night at the Cumberland County Civic Center. Jordan Caron, Jamie Tardif, Zach Trotman, Ryan Spooner and Christian Hanson scored the goals for Providence. Michael Hutchinson picked up his first victory of the season.

Providence Defeats Connecticut, 4-2

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins defeated the Connecticut Whale 4-2 Friday evening at The Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Alden Hirschfeld and David Warsofsky scored and Jamie Tardif added two goals to help the Bruins improve to 8-8-0-1 and complete the month of November with a record of 6-4-0-1.

Cross Returns to Providence

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins, in their 21st season in the American Hockey League, announced today that the Boston Bruins have reassigned Tommy Cross to Providence from the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL).

Cross skated in 22 games for the Stingrays since being assigned on October 11. The 6’3”, 210-pound defenseman led the team in scoring with 17 points on six goals and 11 assists.

Providence Over St. John's in a Shootout

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins defeated the St. John’s IceCaps 3-2 in a shootout at the Mile One Centre Saturday night. Alden Hirschfeld scored his first AHL goal and Ryan Spooner scored in regulation and the winner in the shootout en route to second star honors.

P-Bruins Fall to Sound Tigers 6-2

ProvidenceBruins.com — The Providence Bruins fell to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers 6-2 this afternoon at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Christian Hanson and David Warsofsky each notched their first goals of the season.
